How long have you been in business?

Jon qualified as a driving instructor in 2007 and Karly joined him in 2014 once their youngest child started school. As a team they offer over 11 years of experience and started Worthy Driving School in 2014 so that they could apply their own high standards of tuition to their own business.

Are you fully insured?

Yes, we are fully insured to offer driving tuition in both cars.

What areas do you cover?

We offer driving lessons in the Central Bedfordshire towns and villages around Biggleswade, Sandy, Potton and Wrestlingworth then across into Cambridgeshire; from Gamlingay and Great Gransden, the Mordens, Bassingbourn and into Royston. In addition to serving the city of Cambridge itself, we offer lessons to a huge number of students in the South Cambridgeshire villages including Meldreth, Comberton, Melbourn, Bourn, Eltisely and Orwell. We also regularly start or end a driving lesson from the 6th Form Colleges at Hills Road, Long Road or CRC and at The Perse and The Leys.

We cover a wide area and can offer flexible pick-ups and drop offs each lesson from work, home or college. Use your lesson to get yourself home from work or in time for college.

Do I use your car for my test?

Yes, we will usually give you a personalised lesson before your test and wait at the centre for you whilst you are taking your test. Whatever the result, we’ll drive you home afterwards so you can take well-earned break!

How long is each lesson and how frequently shall I have them?

In our experience, the best length of time for a lesson is 2 hours. We can vary this to suit you – just give us a call and talk to us about what you require.

Can I buy a gift voucher for my son/daughter to spend on driving lessons with you?

Yes! It is really common for parents or grandparents to help out with the cost of learning to drive and we would be happy to issue a voucher for a number of lessons. All that we ask is that the voucher is used in the 12 months following the issue date.
